Administrator’s TECHCorner:  High Tech Learning

Technology holds the key to helping students develop necessary skills to compete in a 21st century global world.  One of the latest technologies that CVCS offers our students is the Smart Board.  These Interactive Whiteboards allow staff and students to interact with digital resources in a classroom setting.  These allow teachers to build interactivity into all subjects of their lessons.  Our staff can access pre-built lessons that can also be customized for their specific classroom
needs.  They also can incorporate a multitude of digital resources, such as movie clips, online resources and textbook resources, too!  A neat use of the Smart Board is that teachers can capture and save a lesson for a student that is absent. These Interactive Boards hold a lot of appeal to a variety of different learning styles.  Once again, CVCS kicks it up a notch to meet the needs of our 21st century digital learners as we continue to educate, engage, empower our students towards excellence!
